No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. How to enter The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 Screening Giveaway. Beginning as of July 8, 2008 12:00 am ET, go to www.seventeen.com/sisterhood and follow the on-screen directions and enter the code "jeans" to print out a free screening pass allowing you and a guest a chance to attend a screening of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 at participating theatres on July 31, 2008. Each free screening is open only to U.S. legal residents in the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Kansas City, MO; Philadelphia, PA; Phoenix, AZ; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; and Washington, D.C. who are thirteen to twenty-nine (13-29) years of age as of July 8, 2008. Void outside of Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Kansas City, MO; Philadelphia, PA; Phoenix, AZ; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; and Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, all U.S. Territories and Possessions and all Overseas Military Installations and where prohibited by law. Please Note: A free screening pass does not guarantee a seat. Each specific theater location is overbooked to ensure a full house. Theaters are not responsible for overbooking. No admittance once screening has begun. All free screening passes remain the property of Alcon Entertainment, which reserves the right to admit or refuse access to any specific theater location at the discretion of an authorized studio and/or theater representative. No free screening passes are for resale. Seating and admittance is dependent on the specific theater locations and is on a first come, first serve basis at all participating theater locations. Each pass will admit two (2) people to the free screening. You must have a printed pass with a bar code to attend. Transportation to and from the screening is not provided. You must have a copy of the screening pass for admission. Tickets are limited while supplies last.
1.THE SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING PANTS 2 SCREENING GIVEAWAY (referred to as the “Screening Giveaway”).
2.ELIGIBILITY: Employees of Hearst Communications, Inc., Seventeen Magazine (collectively, "Sponsor"), Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc., Alcon Entertainment, their respective parents, affiliates and subsidiaries, participating advertising and promotion agencies, and prize suppliers (and members of their immediate family and/or those living in the same of household of each such employees whether legally related or not) are not eligible to attend a free screening.
3.CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: By attending a free screening , you agree to hold Sponsor, Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc., Alcon Entertainment, their respective advertising and promotion agencies and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representative agents, successors, assigns, officers, directors, and employees harmless for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in the Screening Giveaway or acceptance or use of the free screening pass. Sponsor is not responsible for any printing, typographical, mechanical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Screening Giveaway or in the actual use and enjoyment of the free screening pass. The free screenings will be monitored for unauthorized recording. By attending you agree not to bring any audio and/or visual recording device into the theatre and you consent to physical search of your belongings and person for such devices. If you attempt to enter with a recording device, you will be denied admission. If you attempt to use a recording device (including but not limited to cell phones with photo capabilities, you consent to your immediate removal from the theater and forfeiture of the device. Nothing contained in these Official Rules shall limit the available remedies Sponsor, Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc., Alcon Entertainment, their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representative agents, successors, assigns, officers, directors, and employees may have against you. Unauthorized recording will be reported to law enforcement and may subject you to criminal and civil liability (including damages up to One hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) (USD).
4.INTERNET: Sponsor is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor or presenter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof. If for any reason the Internet portion of the Screening Giveaway is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Screening Giveaway, Sponsor reserves the right in Sponsor's sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Screening Giveaway. Sponsor further reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the Screening Giveaway process in any way. Sponsor may prohibit an individual from participating in this Screening Giveaway if Sponsor determines that said individual is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Screening Giveaway by cheating, hacking, deception or other unfair playing practices or intending to abuse, threaten or harass other individuals who participate in the Screening Giveaway. Caution: Any attempt by an individual to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Screening Giveaway is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such individual to the fullest extent of the law.
5.DISPUTES/CHOICE OF LAW: Except where prohibited, you agree that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Screening Giveaway shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by state or federal courts situated in New York, NY, (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event attorneys' and/or experts' fees and costs; and (3) no punitive, incidental, special, consequential or other damages, including without limitation lost profits may be awarded (collectively, "Special Damages"), and (4) you hereby waive all rights to claim Special Damages and all rights to have such damages multiplied or increased. New York State law, without reference to New York’s choice of law rules, governs the Screening Giveaway and all aspects related thereto.
