My right mouse button just stopped working on IE Explorer 6. It works in every other program. My DH says I should just reboot my PC, which I will do, but what could have caused this?
Is it not working for every page or just a specific page?
There are some websites disable right-clicking because they don't want people looking at their source code or saving images or whatever other reasons they have for doing that. But once you leave the page, it works normally again.
no, it was for every page... and sure enough, I rebooted and the problem is fixed... thank you though!!
just curious if you had tried to close/kill IE6 and reopen it to see if the problem was still around.

Is it a cordless mouse and if so are you using their driver/software to program it?
On my laptop the Microsoft cordless mice seem to work all the time but when I connect another manufacturer, like Logitech, the Logitech program will sometimes stop responding correctly. One item for example is the horizontal scroll. I keep it set for 3 lines per scroll notch. Every now and again it will change to scrolling quarter of a page or so on each notch all by itself. I either have to reboot or go into the mouse properties and 1st make sure that the microsoft driver hasn't tried to default itself and then go to the scroll set page and reset it to 3 lines.
If yours is not a cordless mouse, and if you haven't plugged any other USB type mice into your computer that were not the one that came with it, then
...Nevermind...
