Haven't tried it for a few years...last time I did, it sucked. Vista comes with some built in, but it also sucks. I've heard good things about the latest version of Dragon NaturallySpeaking; anyone here have experience with it?

I know that TG has had a need for it....

I installed this for my brother in law and I was fairly happy with it. It's one of those things that improves with a little time and practice, and it's much easier to use than voice recognition software used to be. I don't have to tell you this, because you are a bargain hunter, but the price on this stuff varies in HUGE ways according to what version you get and where you get it. I found the "Essentials" version for about 50 bucks and it is great for what they need.
You can get other versions that "speak" legalese, medical jargon and such. Not sure which one you are looking for.

I gotta find the difference between standard and premium; I just need it to transcribe things for me. (Doing some videos and I want to add captions, but I talk a heckova lot faster than I type)
