Looks like a descent rate for current FNBO Direct customers:

9 month is good since there is a lot of volatility in the market at the moment.

Remember that Countrywide is still offering a 6 month at 5.45% as well, which is ridiculously high. I am planning another 0% run soon, and my money will definitely go there, or FNBO. Thanks ebytes!

I chose FNBO over CW because I don't have any existing accounts with CW. The transfer funding from my current FNBO savings account was nice and easy. Funding showed up this morning.

The 9-month CD @ 5.25% is now gone and has gone ↓ to 4.26% dry.gif

They're now advertising a 6-month CD @ 4.75%, not as enticing.

Countrywide is also down to 4.75% sad.gif

Too bad I didn't get a chance to stick some 0% money in the Countrywide CDs before the rates went down!

I managed to dump 90% of my accumulated FNBO Direct savings to two separate CDs on 01/10 and 01/14. I'm quite surprised by the significant percentage point drop. sad.gif

On another note, Etrade CD rates have tumbled as well. I opened 5 CDs with various time frames and now the best they offer is @ 6-month 4.45% APY.
