I'm pretty sure I typed the correct password, but I can't seem to get in. I tried using the password recovery console, but my information doesn't match. Any suggestions?

That happened to me like 6 months ago on one of my yahoo email accts. I am not sure what the situation was and since have found that nothing appeared to be array but the way I fixed it was to do the forgot password and temp was emailed to my secondary email then I changed it after that. I believe that was the process anyway.

No problems for me @ the moment...I've found Yahoo to be more problematic the last 6 months or so than the whole time I've had an account...which must be 5 years or so...

I'm not sure if I added a second email address to that account. It's a PITA since this is my mail email addy.

If I remember correctly it is a requirement.

I just emailed a form to customer care. I'll see if something can be done. Doesn't look good as this is my eBay selling email account and all correspondence goes straight to here.

I just changed my eBay email addy along with the email addy @ Pay Pal.

Well, it's partly my fault. It's always a good idea to change your password every now and then, but I don't.

no not your fault. I would have to say that would be the norm not to change it. Now I do worse..not only are my passwords common, easy to hack but also similar on everything except where they require 5,6,8, etc which I add something..and I use roboform so it would be easy to have variation without the need to remember many different ones

I was having problems with yahoo early this morning. Couldn't get to the homepage, news or finance sections, but could get to email.

A few days ago I couldn't get to to email, but it started working a few hours later.

Anyway, I have a client that was having trouble with yahoo email a couple of weeks ago. She tried resetting her password online and I don't know what she did but she got locked out of her account for a day. I gave her the number I found from Yahoo's profile on Yahoo Finance and she was directed to someone who changed her password. The password was emailed to a secondary email account she had. The number I gave her was 408-349-3300.

yahoo has been a pain for me lately, too. Need to get everything over to Gmail...

I was having slight issues with yahoo. I set up gmail to retrieve my yahoo email. I did this all in gmail.

Tried logging into Yahoo email this morning and still no luck. There goes all my contacts.

I know most webmail will do forwarding but I didn't know Gmail did retrieval as well. I think I will have to set that up. Gmail has always been more quick and reliable.

Wasn't feeling well today and called in sick. I called some time in the evening and was instructed to contact customer care by calling 866-562-7219. I spoke to a CSR and was asked a series of questions ranging from DOB to secret pets name. Good thing all were answered correctly. She later asked for a secondary email address to be added to my Yahoo account. A temp password was sent to my secondary email account(hotmail) and I was finally able to log into my Yahoo email account! Thanks so much Alan and everyone else!

The site's been wierder than usual lately...garbled emails, same text/pictures listed 3-4 times in an email...really wiiiiiiiiiide html images...

same thing is happing to me too also....ppl are not getting my email nor I from them..

I've been seeing some strange behavior as well, although I mostly use the site in the mornings before I head out the door. Couldn't tell ya what happens during the day.
