I am looking for a bag for a monitor. Was thinking of a computer or catalog case that would do the trick. Need to be hard shell and open space with no additional (minimal) comparments that other bags come with. But the size is 17x17x8. Most catalog cases are like 18x15x8. Prefer rolling type if avail.

You can check out Kalispel cases - they will actually custom make one to your specs. Not sure if they have anything in their regular product line that would work for you, as your dimensions are larger than most standard cases you find.

Edit: Pelican cases might be worth a look as well.
