Very similar to my Chase Rewards card, which is 5% cash rebate on grocery stores, gas, and drug stores, but I don't know if I have a limit of rebates or not. The card has been unavailable for about a year or two. Also, a few months ago, Chase changed the Mass Merchandisers (Sam's, BJ's) and the Discount Stores (Wal*Mart) to be not included in the "Grocery Stores" category. I wonder if Wal*Mart and Meijer would be considered a supermarket?

Yes, a lot of the 5% new offers have disappeared. Not only that...One of the chase 5% is converting people to chase freedom which is 3%

It's possible since this is with a different card issuer.

Hmm sounds good, those cards are pretty much extinct now. I bet any money that card will go the way of the dinosaurs very soon.

Anyone can confirm if Walmart purchase falls into the 5% cash back with this card?

I updated the OP with more info as a couple people on a different site applied for this offer because of this post.

I'm probably going to start using this more.

I plan on running a test at walmart and see what happens. I think i read somewhere that someone tried it and it worked.

The Chase Rewards (5%) that I currently have used to work at WalMart, but after about two years they said 'discount stores' would no longer fall under the grocery category. I hope it works for you!

To anyone who's got the Associated Bank Cash Rebate Card:

Since this card is issued by Citibank, does it include Citibank Virtual Account Numbers like normal Citibank cards do?
Warshed
Applied, didn't hear anything yet. I messed up on my business number, so I wonder if that caused hickups. Who do I call if I want to check status since the normal number is automated?

I looked around in the account and i couldn't find anything, plus i found the following list on citibanks website:

View Citibank Credit Cards with Virtual Account Number feature.

Thanks. In that case, I'll stick w/ my PenFed VISA rewards card. 5% back on gas, 2% on groceries, 1.25% on everything else, w/ no cap on the annual reward amount (at least none I'm aware of). Plus, the monthly rebate earned posts directly to the statement when it closes. No waiting until you've built up $x worth of rewards to claim it.

For some reason this credit card is now shown in my Citibank Account area, I wonder if Citibank aquired associated bank? I don't get it.

The card was always a citibank issued card. It is basically co-branded with Associated bank. I don't see anything in the associated bank press releases mentioning an acquisition.

When they first started offering the card, the online login it was completely separate. You had to login from a specific link off the associated bank website. It's possible they're allowing the accounts to get consolidated now.

I still can't login myself from the citibank website. I don't have any other bank/credit accounts with them though.
