Unfortunately, this is crap. This stuff doesn't even compare in quality to my Sanyo 5300 which has flash unlike these (I'm waiting to open it in August when I get $50 back from Costco, then return my old phone
).Picture quality is still extremely poor. - 640x480... this won't replace my digicam, which I think needs at least 1.3MP (4x6 photo) to act as a decent camera -- I'm willing to carry a camera around seperately, but 1.3MP is a minimum for something that advertises itself as a camera, not a toy. And they want $650 for either one, which is not even close to the range I'm looking at for a similar two piece (phone and e335 - around free before accessories) device... overall for now, this isn't what I want, regardless of the price.
When do you guys think something decent will come? The PocketPCs currently do everything I can ask - MP3s, videos, appointment book. They're great. My e335 is perfect as it doesn't weigh much either (these things will weigh twice as much). I'm waiting for something that weighs as much as my PPC, has longer battery life, has at LEAST a 1.3MP camera (available on Japanese camera-phones), and of course has the very important PPC feature of an expansion slot.
I'm figuring I'll be keeping current setup (which a possible PPC upgrade) for at least 2 years before what I want is available. Your thoughts?
