I found 128MB GVP memory at ECost and PC Mall for under $10 each, but it describes it as being for Apple Notebooks. Is there any reason why this shouldn't work in an Inspiron 3800?

Full Version: pc100 SODIMM memory for Dell Inspiron 3800
I need to upgrade the memory in a Dell Inspiron 3800. It takes PC100 SODIMMS, cl2 or cl3, up to 256MB modules, according to the documentation.
I found 128MB GVP memory at ECost and PC Mall for under $10 each, but it describes it as being for Apple Notebooks. Is there any reason why this shouldn't work in an Inspiron 3800?

If you do a search for M9052445 at ecost and/or pcmall two listings appear for that MFG. Part #. One listing says for both PC & MAC and a price under $10. The other listing says for MAC and a price over $40. Looks like two different products with the same MFG. Part #.
