Hi, I just did all the steps to unlocked my PAP2 Ver.2, I could get the output.xml file but I don't know what to do with it.
I can access very well to the [http://mypap2address/Voice_adminPage.html] and see the all the tabs and info, also I can get in to [http://mypap2address/Provision.html]. I tried to configured my account to make internetcalls, but it doesn't work. It's anything that have to do with the output.xml file? Do I forget any step to follow? Please, give a hand. I'll apreciate it. Thanks. |

Any word yet about unlocking the Vtech IP8100? According to http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,168...5?hilite=ip8100 It has been unlocked. BUT .... This phone may interfere with your 802.11abg wireless network. It uses both 2.4 Ghz & 5.8Ghz. From page 37 of the manual http://www.vtechphones.com/docMgt/public/a...dset_manual.pdf TRANSMIT FREQUENCY Base: 5725 - 5850 MHz Handset: 2400 - 2483.5 MHz RECEIVE FREQUENCY Base: 2400 - 2483.5 MHz Handset: 5725 - 5850 MHz |

This phone may interfere with your 802.11abg wireless network. It uses both2.4 Ghz & 5.8Ghz. It might. I've had a 2.4 ghz phone right next to my wireless router and it never seemed to interfere. Probably depends on the combination of equipment. If you're in that position where you aren't sure, i would test it out the equipment within the return policy. |

I used the cyt_3.9c tool to unlock the PAP2 v.2 I got from BesBuy, and can access the http://pap2ip/Voice_adminPage.html and http://pap2ip/update.html pages without any problems.
However, after power cycling the device, I can no longer login to these pages. Did I not complete the unlock process? Do I need to do anything else?] Thanks so much for any advice. |

I have unlocked both PAP2 and PAP2V2. Which one is the better device? Thanks. I should add that I only tested voipbuster on both devices and both work fine. Hi, can you tell me how could you config your PAP2 V2 with VoIPBuster? I could unlocked mine, but I could not making work with my VoIPBuster. Please give me a hand. Thanks. |

Post 2 has the details for internetcalls.com, which is basically the same thing as voipbuster. Just alter those directions to match the SIP Settings page on voipbuster.

OK, hopefully someone can help me. Please!!!
I can't even get the login page to display. I not a newbie when it comes to PC's and or networking. Pretty basic setup here. First, I just tried connecting with a cross-over using 192.168.15.1= SIP and 15.100 = PC. The web page http://192.168.15.1 will not come up. So I broke out a switch....same thing no web page. Tried 192.168.1.1....same result... plugged my laptop into the switch...no luck. Windows firewall is not on. I never let the PAP2 v2.0 connect to the internet. I am stuck awaiting your response(s) Thanks!!! w |

Mine was 192.168.15.254 (I should have tried that b4) |

Do I need to do anything else?] Thanks so much for any advice. bubamarkus also experienced something similar on PAGE 13 of the meister_sd's thread he basically factory reset and then re-unlocked the device using the cyt software. Which version of the cyt software did you use? you might want to try 3.5 this time and see if it does a better job. Another recommendation was to power cycle the device, but i'm guessing you've probably already done that many times. |

zonder - just wondering if you are logging in as admin/admin to the regular page(http://ip) and then login to the http://ip/Voice_adminPage.html (as Admin). Pap2 has a 2 step login process, you cannot go directly to the voiceadmin or provision pages unless you have gone through the regular user level login.

Jolpot's Guide for the D-Link VTA-VR
Jolpot recently wrote a guide for the VTA-VR. I haven't read through it yet, but it looks very promising. I'll probably add some of the useful advice sometime later to one of the main posts Anyways, the above is the link to the guide for anyone who needs some extra help. |

PAP2 V2 Setup for Stanaphone:
QUOTE Caller ID Name: MYUSER#
User Name: MYUSER# Password: MYPASSWORD Proxy Server:sip1.stanaphone.com Proxy Port:5060 Registrar Address:sip1.stanaphone.com Registrar Port:5060 Digit Map:xxT|*1xx|[349]11|1xxx[2-9]xxxxxx|[2-9]xxxxxxT|[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|011x.T Make sure to set your caller ID number field. There's a 'bug' in the firmware, the PAP2v2 1.00.13 uses the caller ID number field to register you. |

I am getting errors when trying to unlock my VTA-VR. The device's web page shows that it has firmware version VTA-11.4.0-r060331-1.00.07-r060418.img.
Does the cyt39c or cyt35 work only for certain firmware versions? Has anybody successfully unlocked a Vonage VTA-VR with this firmware? Here is the problem I am having: I've used both cyt39c and cyt35 with the same results. I've set up the IPs on both my PC and the VTA-VR. I can browse into the device's web page and I can log in as user or as Support, but not as admin or Admin. I ran cyt39c and captured the network traffic using ethereal to try to debug the problem. The capture shows that my PC is talking to the device and it is answering. The CYT39c program tries to do an HTTP POST to the VTA-VR and the device responds "Error. Accessing page outside of html tree. Exiting" Meanwhile, the CYT39c program doesn't change at all (there is no information that anything is working or failing). If not for the ethereal capture, I'd be sitting there waiting for ever. There is no retry to try to communicate with the device...there is no more traffic after this initial failure. In looking at a traffic capture of when I try to browse into the device with a browser, the HTTP traffic seems different. They are doing a bunch of GET messages rather than POSTs. This is what leads me to ask if CYT39c is for another firmware version that maybe handled their HTTP differently? Thanks in advance for any thoughts. |

I was also trying with same firmware version of VTA-VR and both cyt39c and cyt35 doesn't do it.
It passes step 1 though, but could not proceed to step 2 and couldn't unlock the device. Strange..Someone know if the chipset changed. Bought mine from microcenter a week ago. |

Hi guys,
Any new about unlocking a WRTP54G-ER? Is it really possible or it is better to use it as a wireless router only? Thanks! |
