Because of this, I'll push back the draft...though I'm not sure I'll be able to find an evening (EDT) draft time.

I suppose we can do an autopick draft, if all else fails.

EDIT: For now, ignore the changed draft date/time (Wednesday, 2:15PM PDT)...I'll try to find a better date/time, or we can always try another site.

I think you should definitely do that. It's just going to be too hard finding a time when people across 4 time zones can meet.

That's a good point; however, I still think we should try to schedule a live draft that suits as many players as possible.

Those who cannot make it will be autopicked anyway. I figure:

1) FFB has just about as much to do with one's luck as the season progresses as it does a solid draft strategy.
2) Yahoo's autopick system is actually pretty intelligent...I completely missed one draft and had my entire team (with the proper number of players at each position) completely filled out.
3) IMO, FFB leagues are won via the waiver wire and trades
4) This is all just for fun, isn't it?

One other little problem is that, as of today, I still don't have at least 8 commitments.

I've switched us to an Autopick draft. As soon as we get eight players, I will initiate the draft.

In the meantime, you may set up your autopick list (on your team page) by clicking on "My Team" followed by "Pre-Draft Player Rankings."

BTW, at least half the players in this league have never participated in a fantasy football league before, so this'll definitely be a non-competitive league

One additional note:

Since the season starts on the 7th of September, the draft must be completed before then.

Yahoo! requires us to allow 72 hours for an autopicked draft to occur; therefore, I will keep signups open for this league until Monday. If we do not reach 8 players by then, I'll delay the start of the season until week 2.
