No, that's not how it went. She woke up at 6:00 and I wasn't ready to get up yet, so I got her out of her crib and put her in my bed. (WHY did I bother?) She was pulling off covers, singing nonsense toddler words, squealing at the cat (Who she calls "Bee," I have NO idea why...) and finally head-butted me right in the mouth.

That got me up!

For a while I looked like this :drool: but the swelling did go down. Now it's just swollen on the inside, so I know I'm going to be chewing on it every time I try to eat for the next few days.

And that's my sad story for the day. No reverse boobies today.

I know how you feel, no fat lip but I have been head butted too many times. The worst part is when it hurts them and somehow it's your fault.

Ahhh - ya probably deserved it! Seriously though - I had my share of incidents like that with my son (who just turned 10 yesterday). One time I was bending down to pick him up about the same time he decided to try and jump into my arms. I thought he broke my nose - he got me so hard it brought tears to my eyes. Those were the days...

I once had DD in my lap. She wanted candy or something, and I said no. She had a tantrum threw her head back and unintentionally got me right in the mouth. I was sure I was going to be spitting teeth!!
