Use this program CutePDF Printer for making the hard disk copy of your printables. It installs itself as a printer sub-system. Click print from (file-->print) menu as you print any other document and choose CutePDF Printer as your printer. It will create a pdf (Be patient, sometimes it will take long time based on the size of the document you are printing)
QUOTE(cron @ 4-17-03, 8:39pm) 2) Immediately print out any rebate forms associated with a product.
I usually print out rebates online BEFORE ordering a product. These rebate forms disappear very quickly from websites. This has recently become a problem with Staples when they yank the rebates during the middle of the promotion. For online orders, you could also save the rebate forms to your hard drive at the same time as the online receipts. Most <!--Word2URL:B&M--><span title="Brick and mortar store (A physical retail store as opposed to an online merchant)">B&M<!--endWord2URL--> stores have copies of rebate forms at the customer service desk. Many <!--Word2URL:B&M--><span title="Brick and mortar store (A physical retail store as opposed to an online merchant)">B&M</span><!--endWord2URL--> stores, such as Best Buy, have the rebate form in their computer. Just ask for extra copies. </span> This post has been edited by NeoHyd: 12-1-04, 4:49am |

I think this link to shipping assistant is more up to date:
http://www.usps.com/shippingassistant/instructions.htm This cites v2.2.1, instead of just 2.2. |

Besides the 3/4" requirement, is there also a certain size envelope required to use these labels? They suggest using 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" labels, and the parcel requirement also states:
QUOTE Has an address side with enough surface area to fit the delivery address, return address, postage, markings and endorsements, and special service label;

Not sure how this would go over, but here is a sample letter demanding your refund: QUOTE April 17, 2006
Having trouble getting your rebate? Here's a sample demand letter you can send to the company that's stiffing you. You should send it certified mail, return receipt requested. Keep a copy of the letter and a copy of all the product codes, receipts, etc. Also, be sure to keep the receipt that shows the letter was received and signed for by someone at the company. You should send copies to the Federal Trade Commission, the Attorney General of your state and the state where the company is headquartered, and to ConsumerAffairs.Com and other consumer organizations and publications. It is not necessary to use certified mail for the copies, only for the letter you send to the company.
