This year, we turn 110. We’re fine with growing old. We’re not fine with growing stale. So, to celebrate, we’re going to throw open the windows and let in some fresh air. The new website definitely has some bugs to work out. Like the new Target site when it was rolled out (it wouldn't let you on if you had IE8 even though it would tell you that in order to view it you needed either IE8 or IE9) it seems that not any pre roll out beta testing was done. The site will no longer let you have two identical letters or numbers next to each other in your password. If you do you need to have a temp password sent and then log in with it and change your permanent password. Unfortunately the temp password they sent me had two of the same letters together. It let me log in through the link in the temp password email but then would not let me change my permanent password because it would not accept the "old" password (the temp). After trying to enter their email contest three times with the temp password I gave up. I emailed the "Contact Us" link about the problem and they answered me with two $10off$10 coupon codes to thank me for letting them know.

I just watch Ellen's Victorian TV ad and boy are there some dumb folks in advertisment. While the UK and previously Ireland are similar to the United States in 100 pences equal one pound, that came about in the 1970's. Previously both had a system where 240 pences equal a punt (Eire) or a quid (UK). So that hat priced at 14 pound 99 pence is a few shillings away fron 15 quids.
My Irish Aunt Bridie was out shopping in NYC and decided to buy an umbrella. This was back in the '70s and since no one was at the register, she left the money at the register. However, security came after her and she was forced to do thing properly. Never did ask if she included the tax, which in many European nations is built into the sticker price. Let see, I can see some Chicago bank selling itself in the trib with a photo of heather's two mommies. Given the city itself has done more then it fair share in flushing the Land of Lincoln done the crapper. On the other hand, outside of Austin, Adam and Steve even in boots and cowboy hats aren't what we'll be on the new Dallas show or elsewhere in the Lonestar state.
 Do note that Texas isn't Utah, especially after a story come out that The Teacher of the Year, is found to have sent a nude pix by cellphone to a student. IMHO, this perv deserve a few years at Huntsville and hopefully he doesn't turn into a rainbow warrior. J.C. Penney's two-dad ad features Dallas-area family |

Let see, we have a federal law, DOMA, that reflect the will of Congress and signed by a sitting President (Clinton). However, two lawbreakers, Eric Holder and Barack Obama, refuse to uphold a legal law and probably won't challenge that MA court. Hey, following these clowns logic, some of those 'old' LDS guys should have the ability to have a few sister wives. Same goes for Moslem males, like the buffoon's daddy. IMHO, the US House of Representative should bring up charges against Holder and Obama for either being too stupid or too lazy to uphold the laws of our nation.

Wiser heads previaled for the JCP Father Day TV ad. The ending with a father dancing with his daughter at the reception is a good touch. It reinforces a current trend that is found in many 'wedding' videos that have gone viral. Now the song, My Guy, is a Motown classic and my guess it's a studio version by Mary Wells.

if you have to think about what you will buy at Nordstrom, you might not be part of that evil 1%. JCP is still the run of mill chain where middle class folks go to 'kick the tire' and if the merchandise isn't viewed as as a value for the price, the customer walks back out the doors.
