Xbox 360 Arcade $199 PLUS $100 Gift Card on Saturday 11/7 at Walmart

One Day Only: Saturday 11/7 8AM, minimum 10 per store.

Obviously this will sell out really fast. I've seen people planning to pre-buy the system, but YMMV if that will work.

Deal is part of their Walmart One Day Only In-Store Specials: Saturday 11/7 8AM

added the yahoo home page ad screenshot to the OP that very clearly confirms the deal.

Also since there's some interest in the other deals, I split them off into their own topic here:

OK gamers, the Walmart Xbox360 arcade says it comes with only 512mb of memory with 256 available for storage of music, etc. The more expensive versions have a hard drive in them, my question: If you get the Walmart arcade version can I add a hard drive to it?

from SD

Q: Can I put a new HDD in this?
A: Yes. There is an online kit that sells for under $100 that includes a 60GB HDD, a headset, and 3 months of Xbox Live. You can also search for older 20 or 60GB HDD's on Craigslist. 20GB HDD's sell for ~$30. You don't void your warranty if you use a Microsoft hard drive. There's also information further down in this Wiki about how you can buy a HDD enclosure and put in a notebook hard drive. It's cheaper, but doing so could void your warranty or potentially result in getting your Xbox banned from Xbox Live.

I believe MS blocked that - but I am not sure.

Thanks, found it on Walmart HERE

So would it just be cheaper to buy one of the consoles that come with the HD?

I think the bans were more directly related to piracy than the HDD upgrades, but I am sure the upgrades fell under the breach of the TOS.
