I believe the 10% coupon applies only if it was sent to the email address associated with your eBay account.

I figured they sent this to everyone who had an ebay account, but I guess not. It worked for me. Perfect for a $980 purchase since the max is $100 discount.

In addition, you'll need to tie the email account from your eBay account to the Pay Pal account in order for the 10% coupon to apply.

EDIT: To do so, log into your Pay Pal account, click on the My Account tab, and on the far right, you'll see the Profile tab. Click Add or Edit Email and you can add your eBay email address there.

Nice bit: you get the MS cashback based on the before-coupon amount, rather than the post-coupon amount. Picked up a digital camera package; after I sell the camera and lens I should break even and have assorted goodies I wanted (like an external flash)

I managed to slip an order in the other day with 25% cashback and the 10% Pay Pal coupon for a Nintendo DS Lite, my one and only order. Cashback showed up the next day in my live account. Hopefully it's just temporary that the %age discount isn't showing.

I found this working again on another site, search terms were Wii and PS3, but there
are probable many other things Digital camera, Blu Ray??? Anyways, Good Luck!

Interesting scenario: I bought a $500 gift card from a reputable (100% positive, 350 feedack) seller. I paid $400 for the card and qualified for my last bonus ($100). So it was $300 after the cashback. I paid immediately and then an hour later I received an email from ebay saying that the listing had been removed and is no longer available and that I should considered my auction cancelled. A couple problems here:

1) I already paid for the item via paypal
2) This was my 3rd and final cashback from ebay

The seller has contacted me and explained the situation (sounds legit) and has offered to reverse my paypal amount right away or to ship the gift card tomorrow. I would really like the gift card at the price, but I am also expecting the $100 cashback. Should I just wait a day and see if the cashback shows in my account? Any suggestions?

The question is whether the cashback is tied to your ebay account or your paypal account. I -think- it's the paypal account, so yeah, I'd wait a day or so and see if it shows up (if you only want it at $300) or just go ahead and say send it (if you're willing to pay $400)

For anyone that made a purchase and is not seeing it in your cashback account:

I purchased a Buy It Now item from an Ebay seller with 20% off on 07/28. 7 days later the purchase did not show in my live.com cashback account. I sent an email to cashbk@microsoft.com explaining the situation and received a response a couple hours later asking for more information (paypal transaction #). I provided it to them. It took another week, but the purchase is showing in my account now.

So, if your purchase isn't showing in your account send an email to cashbk@microsoft.com with the following information:
- Live ID
- Order Confirmation (I copied & pasted the ebay "Congratulations" and "You've earned cashback" emails)
- Payment method used (i.e. PayPal) & transaction ID

I had the same thing happen, with a 25% cashback eBay purchase of some silver bullion. The transaction didn't show up in the account after 7 days, so i sent the email to the correct address. It went into a black hole, and I didn't hear anything for another week and a half.

Finally, I had to do a live chat and insist on providing the person on the other end of the chat session (in India, of course) with all of the required info again, and 3 days later, it all showed up correctly. Nothing like Silver Eagles WAY below melt value.

So if you don't get satisfaction from the email, definitely try the online chat.
